Saturday of Induction Weekend

Almost 9,000 fans visited the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday, the largest attendance day of the year to date. I was apart of visitor services on Saturday..we were on a rotation, it started off slowly but by mid morning we were fully swamped. As someone who is 5’5 being swarmed by people who are on average taller than me is not fun. I was on my tip toes most of the morning…
All Star Game Gala

A game that is looked forward to every year by players and fans alike is the All Star Game. This year it was held at the Washington Nationals field. It is a game that pits the National League against the American League. The public gets to vote as to which players from each league get to play in the game.

I do not want to give too much away because Joyce plays a part in the AAGPBL exhibit on Google Cultural Institute. I do however want to let you know about how great of a person she is. Not only did she achieve her own dreams playing in the league but she continues to inspire girls and women to chase their own, including myself.
